 were hung side by side to create the look of one large sculpture. This 
provided the proper scale for the room and filled the space perfectly.</div>

This repetition wall is over the top "glam"! Four, square mirrors were 
hung, leaving space between them to allow the layering of the center 
mirror. The opposite wall has a checkerboard pattern created by 
alternating squares. The negative space between the squares becomes part
 of the design.</div>

In the picture above, we have placed Cycle I and Cycle II framed
canvas art, by Buddy Whitlock, as the focal point with the Diamond 4-door sideboard. Hanging the framed canvas art vertically makes the space look taller
and confines it to the length of the sideboard. The two Abilene lamps balance
and help frame the design. To offset the circles in the art, we have used
decorative books to add more defined lines. The silver finials add texture and the
color keeps things neutral. </div>

pigmented or painted. Pigments and polyurethane are applied to the hide to give

<b>Aniline Leather</b> – natural, pure or unprotected leather.
Hides are colored with transparent, non-protective dyes. Surface markings and

maintain, you’ll want to wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure
not to use any type of cleaning agent, including soap or detergent since
aniline leather is very porous. </div>

leather can be highly <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="17b9f356-8e92-4895-a686-567a4c58f7b4">absorbent</span>.</div>

<b>Bonded Leather </b>– faux, <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="69ffc149-cab2-44d1-bb2f-aa20f0b792c0">naugahyde</span> or <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="e31d7219-676d-4a84-bd68-d30b0bd388e6">pleather</span>. Typically a
durable vinyl or petroleum based fabric, and has a sprayed on application of liquefied
leather as its backing. The backing adds more durability to the bonded leather.

<b>General Leather Cleaning Tips:</b></div>

<li>Clean leather often with a damp cloth. Frequent and gentle
cleaning is better than less frequent, more aggressive cleaning.</li>
<li>If necessary, clean immediately with a non-concentrated mild
soap diluted in lukewarm water <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="1b710ff8-2cf7-4913-91c1-cf3440c9bde6">on</span> a soft, clean towel. Always try to clean a
small hidden area first. This cleaning method is recommended for <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="0456f935-544a-4793-b85c-cd588aff3a7f">corrected</span>
leathers, not natural grades of leather.</li>
<li>Rotate and fluff seat and back cushions <span class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" id="50a6eb70-880e-48f5-90cb-833f73e965fc">to avoid</span> wear spots.</li>
<li>Protect your furniture from direct sunlight and heat.</li>

Local Art Inspiration

of several of the Local Art participants we are crazy about is 
Fayetteville, AR native Duane Gardner. His thoughtful, soft-spoken 
manner belies an energetic and rebellious streak that is apparent in his
 work. His fluid and dynamic brushstrokes and startling juxtapositions 
of text jump off the canvas.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;">When
 asked about his inspirations, Duane eagerly mentions the abstract 
expressionists. “The drips man! They were literally called ‘action’ 
painters.” That uninhibited, punk rock spirit strongly informs Duane’s 
work. One abstract expressionist that Duane cites in particular is Cy 
Twombly. “He was way underappreciated for most of his life, but he is 
awesome." Like Twombly, Duane prefers to paint on large canvases. His 
goal is large-scale works that feel consuming and create a world for the
 viewer to explore. Duane also sights Jean Michel Basqiuat and Robert 
Motherwell as influences.</span></span></div>
